What works

Consistently well reviewed

A genuine local landmark
4,185 reviews is the kind of number a place only reaches when the whole city knows it.
Open every day
No closed days on the schedule, though the hours shift through the week.
Easy to pair with a second stop
18 other marinas sit in the same city, so a wash-out here need not waste the trip.

Worth knowing first

Parking costs money

Strongly seasonal
Boats come out of the water off-season, so both the services and the atmosphere thin right out.
